Starting at the car park in Bad Hindelang, the trail leads through the Zillenbachtobel to the Steinköpfle and along the Kellerwandweg back to the starting point. You will be on the trail for around 5 kilometres.
During the winter hike you can enjoy beautiful views of Bad Hindelang and the Allgäu Alps. The snow-covered landscape creates a special atmosphere, so you can leave your everyday life behind for a few hours in the fresh air.

If you are looking for short but adventurous winter hikes, you can hike to the Schleierfall, for example. The sight of the waterfall is a very impressive image, especially in winter – when it is frozen.
The Ifenblick circuit: Snow-covered paths through the forest lead you up to the Ifenblick. From there you have a magnificent view over Hindelang and the surrounding mountain scenery. In good weather you can even see as far as the Ifen in Kleinwalsertal.
On your round tour you will pass Alpenhotel Oberjoch, which has established itself as a family hotel and is therefore particularly suitable for holidays with children. Children are looked after here in an age-appropriate way and are in good hands during their stay.
Both in summer and winter, you also have the option of taking the Hornbahn Hindelang to the mountain station of the Imberger Horn. At 1320 metres above sea level, you can explore the hiking trails around the Horn or hike directly to the summit.
When you go winter hiking, you are sure to get hungry before, during or after the tour. You can stop for a bite to eat and refresh yourself in an inn, a hut or a mountain pasture around Hindelang. The Berggasthof Giebelhaus, the Berggasthaus Zum Oberen Horn or the Schwarzenberghütte are perfect for this, as all three of these places are also open in winter.
Whether your hikes require good physical fitness and go high up a mountain or whether you prefer leisurely winter walks is entirely up to you. However, you should be aware of alpine hazards such as avalanches and avoid them.
