This beautiful winter hike has a lot to offer, as we not only pass two castle ruins, but also pass two places to stop for refreshments.

Along the way, we cross several small villages and pass the castle ruins of Hohenfreyberg and Eisenberg, which are popular destinations in summer and winter. As the hike is quite long, it is all the more convenient that there are two opportunities to stop for refreshments. So we can have a bite to eat both at the Schlossbergalm and at the Alpe Beichelstein. The scenery on the hike includes the beautiful Schweinegger Weiher pond, the Senkele mountain range and the magnificent panorama of the East Allgäu Alps.
