Der Berg mit dem etwas derben Namen "Bschießer" ist ein Grenzberg des Allgäuer Hauptkammes zwischen Schattwald (Tannheimer Tal) und Hinterstein (Ostrachtal). Seine Höhe beträgt exakt 2000 m und der Berg zählt zu den klassischen Zielen der Skitourengeher. Sowohl beim Aufstieg als auch bei der Abfahrt kann je nach Bedingungen variiert werden. Die Wannenjochbahn im den kleinen Skigebiet von Schattwald verkürzt bei dieser Version den Aufstieg um 450 Höhenmeter. Wer die Höhenmeter lieber selber erarbeitet, der steigt einfach auf der Abfahrtsroute auf.
