A technically demanding backcountry skitour on the northern slopes of the Rohnenspitze.

The Rohnenspitze in Zöblen is a beauty of a mountain that passionate backcountry skiiers already admire on the way through the Tannheimer valley when driving there. The conditions have to be perfect for its massive 900 m high north slope. But if so, the ski tour to the Rohnenspitze and the descent on the north side is not a particularly difficult undertaking. But certainly a particularly beautiful one. The views over the valley Tannheimer are fantastic and from the summit you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the Allgäu mountains.The ascent via the north -west ridge is mostly blown off and as often icy. A perfectly good alternative is the ascend over the Zirleseck and on the south ridge to the summit of Rohnenspitze .

Tolle Tour kann man nur empfehlen. Teilweise verweht im oberen Gipfelbereich aber immer noch okay und auch pulverig. Tolle Abfahrt auf der Nordwest Flanke im oberen Bereich wunderbar pulverig. Gerne wieder. Tolle Aussicht auf die umliegenden Allgäuer und das Tannheimer Tal.

Wahnsinn! Eine richtig schöne Tour war das heute. Beste SChneeverhältnisse und die Abfahrt war einfach spektakulär. Das Allgäu bietet doch einige Leckerbissen, was Skitouren angeht. Respekt!
