The Rohnenspitze in Zöblen is a beauty of a mountain that passionate backcountry skiiers already admire on the way through the Tannheimer valley when driving there. The conditions have to be perfect for its massive 900 m high north slope. But if so, the ski tour to the Rohnenspitze and the descent on the north side is not a particularly difficult undertaking. But certainly a particularly beautiful one. The views over the valley Tannheimer are fantastic and from the summit you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the Allgäu mountains. The ascent via the north -west ridge is mostly blown off and as often icy. A perfectly good alternative is the ascend over the Zirleseck and on the south ridge to the summit of Rohnenspitze .
