The Tyrol-Allgäu Way of St James
This Alpine Route of St. James, which is both scenically and culturally very attractive, leads off the main roads over three Alpine passes, namely the Fernpass, the old Gaichtpass and the Jochpass. It crosses some of the most attractive hiking and holiday regions of Tyrol and southern Upper Allgäu on ancient Roman, trade and pilgrim paths.

Der Beherbergungsbetrieb im Kloster St. Martin in Gnadenwald wurde eingestellt. Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten gibt es in den Martinsstuben und im Alpenhotel Speckbacher

Ich bin mit meiner Frau diesen Weg gelaufen,und kann sagen ein wirklich schöner Wanderweg.Was ich beanstanden muss,ist die Unterkunft suche,da ist dieser Weg nicht Pilger freundlich.Es gibt Zimmer,aber sehr viele Vermieter haben kein Interesse an nur einer
Übernachtung,da der Aufwand zu groß wäre.Viele andere Zimmer sind einfach nicht bezahlbar.Es ist gut wenn man im voraus die Übernachtungen reserviert.
