Updates COVID 19 & Summer Season

The great landscape and the wonderful views invite you to experience nature, mountain landscapes and everything around it. But this of course in compliance with the provisions and orders of the federal government of Austria and the state of Tyrol. With us, every small and large, young and old visitor will find peace, relaxation and what makes a vacation - and that away from mass tourism! With the best care and our full commitment, starting with our landlords, through our restaurants and alps to our personal service.

UPDATE: When can hotels, private landlords, holiday homes and campsites reopen? (May 14, 2020)

The general ban on accommodation for all types of accommodation will be lifted on May 19, 2021. This also applies to the Jungholz community.

When staying in Jungholz, however, as in all of Austria, some rules and measures must be observed

Upon arrival / check-in, in addition to the usual registration for the registration system and for contact tracking, you will need proof of access (tested, recovered, or vaccinated). This also applies to children from the age of 10:

Overview of the existing options (3G rule):

Negative test evidence (antigen test: 48h / PCR test: 72h from testing)Vaccination certificate from day 22 after the first vaccination, valid for 3 monthsProof of recovery not older than 6 months / antibody test not older than 3 monthsTest possibilities on site for further entries in e.g. gastronomy are described below.

For the use of the gastronomy in the hotel or breakfast in your guesthouse as well as for other services such as massages, an update of the access test is required on site every 2 days (if your stay is beyond the validity of your access certificate on arrival and no corresponding proof of vaccination or recovery present).

The FFP2 mask protects you and others in generally accessible areas (FFP2 from 14 years, normal mouth and nose protection from 6 years, children up to 6 years without a mask).

According to Austrian regulations, a minimum distance of 2 meters also applies in Jungholz, except for people from the common household.

Employees with personal contact are regularly tested for Covid-19 and wear tight-fitting mouth and nose protection, unless there is, for example, a high-quality spatial protection device at the reception.

Greetings you kindly,

The Jungholz team
