Die Buronhütte wurde im Jahr 1935 erbaut. Der Name entstammt der ursprünglichen mittelalterlichen Bezeichnung der Stadt Kaufbeuren "Buron". Heute ist sie Anziehungspunkt für zahlreiche Wanderer und Heimatverbundene, die den traumhaften Ausblick, die einmalige Lage und Landschaft genießen wollen. Ob jung oder alt, Ober- oder Unterländer auf der Buronhütte können alle: Einfach - 0ben - Sein.
Unsere a´la carte Karte bietet klassische Hüttengerichte wie: Wertacher Kässpätzle (mit Weisslacker), frisch gebratene Schnitzel oder auch einen Zwiebelrostbraten. Traditionell gibt es am Sonntag immer Braten, mal Sauerbraten, mal Bierbraten...
