Welcome to Jungholz

Away from the through traffic, we will enchant and delight you in every way.
Our idyllic place is located on the sun terrace of a 1000 m high Alpine side valley, with no through traffic and offers pure nature with meadows and forests, mountains and streams in healthy air. We are a municipality with around 300 inhabitants and form the smallest enclave in Austria, and are only connected to the motherland of Tyrol at the summit of the 1638 m high local mountain "Sorgschrofen". Surrounded by the Allgäu and Tannheimer mountains, Jungholz is the perfect starting point for adventurous mountain hikes in wooded nature, for ascent of promising peaks and for a stop in cozy Alps and inns. Among connoisseurs, Jungholz is still an insider tip for a particularly family-friendly active and relaxing holiday in a quiet mountain valley full of nature and tradition.
